HOOKY ZINE
(2025)HOOKY is a tribute to my hometown, Carolina Beach. This series of drawings was completed in the weeks leading up to the COVID-19 lockdown, a time where the island was ghostlier than ever. Meant to document the anachronistic charm of the small coastal town, this zine inadvertidly captures a community in limbo.
I find these drawings especially endearing now, years later, as many of the places depicted are now gone. This 12 page zine, complete with a monoprint cover, is available to order via email.
